Mayon Middeljans is a freelance illustrator based in the Netherlands, currently living and working in Emmen. Mayon makes illustrations for children’s books, picturebooks and fine art prints. She finds inspiration in nature, fairytales and all magical things. With an active imagination, a mild coffee addiction and a sharp pencil she creates an atmospheric, sometimes a bit mystical world for children.
