’Before I make my illustrations I gather inspiration and start sketching in my sketchbooks. I imagine my characters, their body poses, and their worlds. I always cary a skechbook with me, because you’ll never know when inspiration hits you. Sometimes an image just pops into my head and I just have to get it on paper. Later on, I start painting the final illustration. These are the most fun for me, because they grow spontaneously’
